The WOCO Signature Hike Series is a curated collection of seasonal outdoor experiences designed to help participants reconnect with nature, restore the body and mind, and explore some of the most beautiful landscapes in the region.
Whether you are joining your first WOCO experience or deepening your relationship with nature, these hikes offer meaningful opportunities to step outside, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural world.
The WOCO Signature Series includes three distinct hike experiences throughout the year: Harvest Hikes, Land & Sea EcoTours, and National Park Tours.
WOCO HARVEST HIKES
SEASONAL HIKES & PICK YOUR OWN
Harvest Hikes celebrate the seasonal gifts of the land. These experiences combine nature, community, and the simple joy of bringing home fresh flowers or produce.
Explore beautiful local farms while gathering seasonal crops through pick-your-own harvest experiences. It’s a chance to connect with the land, support local agriculture, and leave with something you’ve gathered yourself.
Harvest Hikes may include visits to farms, orchards, wildflower meadows, or forest trails where seasonal plants and wildlife are most active.

LAND & SEA TOURS
EXPLORE SHORELINES, WATERWAYS, & COASTAL SYSTEMS
Land & Sea Tours bring participants into closer relationship with Maryland’s rich coastal environments. These experiences combine land-based exploration with opportunities to learn about the Chesapeake Bay’s ecosystems, wildlife, and conservation efforts.
Depending on the tour, participants may explore shoreline trails, observe migratory birds and butterflies, or experience guided boat-based excursions that highlight oyster reefs, wetlands, and coastal habitats.
These tours offer a unique opportunity to experience both the land and the waters that shape our regional environment.

IMMERSIVE ADVENTURE FOR THE TRUE EXPLORER
National Park Explorations are the most immersive experiences within the WOCO Signature Series. These trips take participants to some of the most breathtaking national parks and protected landscapes in the region and beyond.
These experiences often involve travel, longer hikes, and deeper exploration of natural environments. Participants will experience iconic trails, dramatic landscapes, and unforgettable moments in nature.
These hikes are designed for those who are eager to explore more challenging terrain while strengthening their connection to the outdoors.
