Ready in 10-20 minutes

Ingredients

Aloe Vera plant leaf

Vitamin E oil (optional)

Preparation

  1. Cut the width of the Aloe leaf into rectangular sections.

  2. Cut each its length down the middle so that the flesh of the Aloe plant is exposed.

  3. Peel and/or scrape the aloe flesh into a bowl.

  4. Using a fork, mash and quickly mix the flesh for at least 5 minutes or until all the chunks are gone. Alternatively, a blender can be used for this step.

  5. Transfer the aloe gel into a glass jar or squeeze bottle for an easy dispense.

  6. Use immediately, or store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Tips

Adding vitamin E oil will help to preserve the Aloe Vera Gel. If added, use a very small amount.
